Beyond Indigo was installed at the Gadsden Museum in Gadsden, Alabama in 2024. Sprawling between two galleries, I was afforded the opportunity to utilize one of the galleries as an extension of my studio space. Playing with remnants of processed denim. I explored drawing with pockets, manipulating pant cuffs, and installing pussettes in a scattered, constellation inspired application.

 

The primary material for this installation are crowd sourced denim jeans, first processed in 2020 for a commission at the Hunter Museum of American Art.
